JUNE - Emotional Wellness Support Group

Meets every Wednesday at the WRC | 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM
Are you longing for understanding, compassion, and support? Please join the WRC and Mental Health Association of Greensboro for this weekly support group. This group connects women who share similar experiences in their life's journey. Peer-led groups provide opportunities for members to exchange information, advice, coping skills, and to receive emotional support from others who can relate. JUNE - Simple Ways to Reduce Stress in Your Life

Meets every Tuesday at the WRC | 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Facilitator: Julie Lapham
Meditation techniques and contemplative practices have been used for hundreds of years by peoples as ways to bring peace, tranquility, balance and insight to our lives. In these sessions you'll experience different types of meditation as well as learn about its history. Primarily for beginners, and open to everyone, long time meditators will also discover many benefits as they return to the tabula rasa, the place of the beginning, the practice of the breath. Financial Issues to consider during divorce

This pre-employment program is specifically designed for displaced homemakers - those who have been dependent on the income of another person but due to separation, divorce, lay off, or death of the provider, need to update skills to find substantial employment.
