Sponsorships
MEN CAN COOK is our annual fundraiser, through which we raise money to fund programs and services provided to over 4,500 women each year.
These include:
- Job-readiness programming for women.
- Educational workshops that teach financial literacy (from basic budgeting to planning for retirement); how to access income supports like childcare subsidies, housing assistance, Social Security and Disability; and much more.
- Community Resource Counseling that connects women to the hundreds of resources in our community that can help their families move through transitions – counseling resources, shelters, emergency financial assistance.
- Free legal information including a bank of over 30 local attorneys who work on the attorney hotline and provide legal workshops on landlord/tenant issues, child support and custody information and more.
